As you walk through the cemetery of St. Davids Queenston United Church, you get a glimpse into the history of this congregation. Two hundred and twenty five years of family history. Over the years the church has been the focal point of the community. Weddings, baptisms, confirmations and funerals have all marked the passage of time. Throughout our history we have experienced wars, sickness, economic depression and uncertainty, and transition from a rural to an urban community. We have survived and thrived. In celebrating this very special anniversary, we stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us. Two hundred and twenty five years is something to be proud of and humbled by. As we commemorate this anniversary, let us remember the people who shared a faith so strong that it has moved us forward to today. Let us continue to worship with the faith of our fathers and mothers, brother and sisters, for in the end, we are a family. One of which we should be proud.
